In the Spring and Fall semesters of 2011, my research has led me to investigate systems both natural and man-made. Some of the questions that I've been exploring through this work are: Why use art to capture decay? When is work about something or inspired by it? What is the difference between the two? And, how do you express the passage of time in work without manufacturing decay? These pieces represent some of my explorations during my time in graduate school at SUNY New Paltz.
